Amazing live performance
These recordings are great performances in front of a very enthusiastic Japanese audience. Davy shines, and his amazing skills as a live performer and entertainer are clearly illustrated. The original recordings are mixed from the soundboard and 7a Records spent considerable time and effort in remastering them. What’s amazing about these 2 tracks is just how crazy the Japanese audience is for Davy.

The Estate of David T. Jones has been very supportive of this project, sharing with 7A Records the common goal of ensuring that Davy is honored in a respectful way. This single is made by fans for fans, a strictly limited edition that is destined to become a collector’s item.

7a Records is based in the UK but this is a worldwide release, available through online retailers and many local record stores! The UK release date is February 24th, and the US release is scheduled for the first week of March.
Making the Manchester Cowboy proud
According to Iain Lee of 7a Records, this project has been a labor of love. “We have been working on this single for a long time,” he says. “7a Records is for the moment all about The Monkees, so to finally be able to release something with Davy’s name on is just a huge thrill for us. We are such huge fans, that to be allowed to release a new Davy Jones single is a dream come true. Our only regret is that Davy isn’t here to see it himself.
