At The BBC Paris Theatre (LP Picture Disc)

Format: Limited Edition

7A Records are proud to present the first ever release of Michael Nesmith at the BBC Paris Theatre. An intimate, acoustic concert that has been hidden away in the BBC archives until now.

Recorded in London on November 27th, 1975, the concert features Nesmith alone on stage singing songs from his albums with First National Band and from his forthcoming album “The Prison”. This long lost recording offers a unique and rare insight into Nesmith’s career and mind set at this point in his career. It is sparse and beautiful. Hypnotic and engaging. The vocals are sublime and the guitar playing is Devine. Straight from the master tapes, the recordings have been digitally remastered and are released on a lavish, limited edition 12” Picture Disc, as well as CD digipak with a 12 page booklet that includes a rare 1975 interview with Nesmith, as well as an interview with Dave Pegg from the Fairport Convention, who played with Nesmith. A must for any Nesmith and Monkees fans.
